Child Safety Standards
Ajwa has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any account found to be involved in CSAE is permanently banned and reported to the relevant authorities immediately.
Age requirement
Ajwa is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. During registration, all users must confirm they are 18 or older. The app's content rating is 17+ on iOS and 18+ on Android. Accounts found to belong to minors are terminated immediately.
Prohibited content and behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited on Ajwa and will result in immediate permanent account termination:
- Any sexual content involving minors
- Solicitation of minors
- Grooming behaviour
- Sharing, distributing, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Any communication intended to exploit or harm a minor
Reporting
Users can report any account or content directly within the app by tapping the flag icon on a user's profile. Reports can also be submitted by email to [email protected].
All reports are reviewed manually within 24 hours. Accounts found to be in violation of these standards are removed immediately and, where applicable, reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other relevant authorities.
Photo privacy
Profile photos are private by default and are never shown to strangers. Photos only become visible to another user when the account holder voluntarily sends them an Interest Request. This design limits unsolicited exposure of personal images and reduces opportunities for misuse.
